Like many of my favorite Italian dishes, some combinations can be so incredible simple,
that the resulting flavor is nothing short of remarkable.
It looks like a modest, unimposing linguine Al’Alfredo…..
But the addition of a handful of bay leaves steeping in the reducing cream adds an unexpectedly depthy-herbaceousness,
and slightly peppery quality to the sauce.
It’s like what your childs’ linguine Alfredo want’s to be when it grows up.
Casarecce, in a spicy clam and tomato sauce.
Pappardelle, allla Bolognese.
