What IS Boxing day?

Well, let me explain it….

Ol’timey Boxing Day was traditionally the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradesmen would receive a gift known as a “Christmas box” from their bosses or employers. Modern day Boxing Day is really just a bank holiday that generally takes place on 26 December, observed in the Commonwealth nations.
