So young,

so sweet,

so full of life,

they only see a world of possibilities laid out before them.

-and thats when we chop them off at the stalk,

strip them naked and ready them for the pot!


-Catch them before the grow -up,

develop a spiny exterior shell,

and become bitter to the core.

Suspend them in their youth-full bliss forever,

-or at least until this bottom of the bowl.
