Well, we are all moved in and the place is looking mighty fine!
(if I do say so myself),
(this was our fancy set-up for New Year’s Eve)
There have been a few bumps in the road of course, as with any restaurant, …..but we are working through them.
Like, for instance, my dishwasher hardly speaks A WORD of english,
and communication is spotty at best.
I feel like I get yelled at for every dish I put in the sink!
….Never the less, I’m soldiering on, and making LOTS of gnocchi for today’s service!
Hopefully these little pillows will give your soul a some ballast in defense of the strong winds today!
Also today:
Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese
Capellini Alla Siciliana

Guess I should have called, but were you open on Monday 1/7/13? Usually you are closed on Mondays. Changed plans thinking you were closed today and ended up at Rione XIII on Cap Hill instead. You wrote about some of my favorite words: tagliatelle and gnocchi. I’m glad you and your staff are up and running at your new location. Congratulations!

Looks like a very sweet new space (and a very sweet dishwasher). Hope to be able to stop in very soon.
