Timpano! Timpano! Timpani!

In the heart of wine country, under the  sunny skys of Eastern Washington,

the mother ship landed…..

30 pounds of hand-made pasta…..

20 pounds of handmade meatballs…….

2 pounds pecorino picante, 2 pounds parmigiana reggiano, 4 pounds salami cotto 80 hard boiled eggs

and gallons of sauce……put a lid on them and give them a nice little nap in the oven …..

and let them rest a while…

100 people come to dine….

and in five minutes flat,

timpani go from beautiful, to total devastation…

Cases and cases of delicious Kestrel wine gets drank……

Armandino Batali and his (other) son Dana, roast many, many animals!

the sun sets, two of the opera singers raise their glass…….

and thats a little something we call “Saturday” -in these parts..
